I think there&#039;s two things that helped me a lot.

Acceptance! Millions of people have ringing in their ears. If you can take your mind off of it and turn your attention to something else, it won&#039;t be as bad, I go to sleep with soft music just loud enough to counter act the ringing. If there is something in life you can&#039;t do much about acceptance is a powerful tool.

I recently was reading this old Zen book of self healing, it tells you to put your hands on the sides of your head and with your pointer finger press your ear flaps closed so the opening is covered, then gently tap you middle finger on your pointer finger, there is a loud sound even when tapping soft. I think the shock wave stimulate your ears and this really helps me a lot. There is something to be said about ancient wisdom.
